Land of Sky Regional Council Board of Delegates meeting notice

Announcement from Land of Sky Regional Council:

Land of Sky Regional Council Board of Delegates will meet this Wednesday, February 22 at 12:30 pm either in-person at the Land of Sky Regional Council office or remote via zoom.  The board meeting will include a board orientation session and discussion of the Council’s 2023 legislative goals.  Representatives from North Carolina’s US Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis have confirmed they will be attending. Pursuant to our bylaws the Board needs to appoint a nominating committee to select a slate of officers and Executive Committee members for the upcoming year.  The Board will vote at the March 22 meeting.  Attached is the board meeting packet.

To help us stay on time we will be asking board members to limit their comments to three (3) minutes for the Board of Delegates roundtable at the beginning of the meeting. During the board roundtable we are requesting Delegates share info on short-term rentals and how your jurisdiction is approaching the issues related to short-term rentals.

Lunch will be provided for those attending in-person catered by Red Radish and it will be available at 12:00 pm prior to the Board of Delegates meeting at 12:30 pm.  Board of Delegates members should have received a calendar invite with the meeting link for the Board of Delegates meeting.  The Board of Delegates meeting link is as follows:
