AutoGas Industry Leaders Meet in Asheville at Land of Sky Propane AutoGas Roadshow
In partnership with Blossman Gas and Alliance AutoGas, the Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition (LOSCVC) is hosting the 2nd Annual Propane AutoGas Roadshow on Thursday, November 21st. The Roadshow will run from 9:30a.m. to 1:00p.m. with lunch provided, and will be held at the future home of Blossman Services’ U.S. AutoGas Research and Technology Center (170 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28803).
The event will feature presentations from national industry leaders on the growing demand for propane autogas, case studies from local users, and a number of off- and on-road vehicles for display. Presenters include:
– Stuart Weidie, President and CEO, Blossman Gas, and President of Alliance AutoGas
– Jessie Johnson, President, Blossman Services Inc.
– Steve Whaley, ROUSH Cleantech (pending confirmation)
– Lori Hembree, Director, Mountain Mobility
– Dicky King, Fleet Manager, Biltmore Estate
– Susan Anderson, Director, Haywood County Transit
– Bill Eaker, Coordinator, Land of Sky Clean Vehicles CoalitionVehicles will be on display from the Biltmore Estate, Haywood County Transit, Meals on Wheels, Mountain Mobility, and more. Additional speakers and display vehicles to be announced.
LOSCVC Coordinator Bill Eaker notes, “Fleet owners and drivers across western NC are saving on fuel costs, reducing GHG emissions, and supporting domestic fuel through the use of propane autogas. The Roadshow is an excellent opportunity for business, educational, and industry leaders to learn how their organizations can benefit from autogas.”Once completed, the new AutoGas Research and Technology Center will serve the entire United States as Blossman Services’ national distribution hub for autogas vehicle and fueling station equipment, conversion, maintenance and dispenser operator training and support.
