2020 Census

Census Partnership Specialist Laura McClettie, State Demographer Mike Cline, and Governor’s Census Liaison Ron Coates are holding a training/information meeting on the 2020 census. They will be covering the importance and impact, preparations, and promotion of the census.  They will also talk about the impact of the Census on certified state population estimates and projections and changes in the state certification process.

Advocacy 101

In partnership with other local advocacy organizations, the League is hosting a series of workshops for those who want to train for effective advocacy and participation and public engagement efforts. The Advocacy 101 Series will include local civics, how to lobby and advocating through the budgeting process
