Local Massage Therapy Clinic and Training Center Receives National Certification:

The Sunshine Institute Provides Board-Approved Continuing Education

May 15, 2014 (Asheville, NC) –  Sunshine Institute, an Asheville-based massage therapy clinic and holistic education center, was recently awarded certification as a continuing education provider from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB), the professional organization that oversees approved continuing education providers, board certification, and national licensure for massage therapists.

“Quality continuing education for Massage Therapists is important because each state requires a minimum number of continuing educational credits to maintain licensure and the Sunshine Institute is pleased to meet this need for massage therapists,” explains Co-Founder Carolynn Key-Suhr LMBT.

In addition to massage therapy training, Sunshine Institute operates a clinical practice dedicated to specialty needs populations including; infants, children, pregnant and post-partum women and active seniors, as well as individuals dealing with cancer, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, neurological imbalances and other special needs.
