Madison County Litter Sweep Contest

Madison County partners have come together to create a litter sweep with a twist.  Sign up your group of four or more Madison County residents age 12 or older at one of our Supply Pick-up Centers and you could win cash for picking up trash.  The Great Madison County Litter Sweep Contest will run from April 13-27, 2019, in conjunction with the statewide litter sweep.  The prizes are $1,000 for the most bags of recyclables and $500 for the most bags of nonrecyclable trash.  Bags, gloves, vests and safety signs will be supplied.  The group safety leader may start signing up their group on April 7, 2019 at one of these Supply Pick-up Centers. A valid current photo ID with a Madison County address or an MHU Student ID is required at sign-up.

The NCDOT Madison County Maintenance Yard will not be able to sign you up for the contest.
