Uh-Oh… “We had trouble getting an affiliate in Asheville, so we went and got a station.” Agnes and I received the keys to our new station partnership today… 1350AM WZGM and News Talk 50, Inc (our company) signed an operation deal today to manage and operate the 10,000 Watt station in Asheville. Details about line up adjustments to be announced in the days to come. SURPRISE!!!!

One does not simply buy a radio station.
perhaps not one, but apparently two do?
Actually, they didn’t buy the station, but entered into an agreement (Probably an LMA, Licensing and Management Agreement)to run the station. I sincerely hope there have been some equipment (and other) updates since the last time I saw the station!

I guess someone didn’t read the article, which didn’t say they bought the station.
