Republican Rep. Tim Moffitt is the first Buncombe County Statehouse candidate to launch a television advertising campaign, going live today with the below spot. The freshman legislator faces a challenge this year from Democrat Jane Whilden North Carolina’s to represent the 116th House District, which encompasses most of western and southern Buncombe County. Video here embedded via Moffitt’s YouTube page:
The following press release was sent out yesterday, Sept. 18, from the Moffitt campaign:
ASHEVILLE – Representative Tim Moffitt (NC116) will release the first television ad of his reelection campaign tomorrow, highlighting his Buncombe County roots and record on job creation and tax reduction. The 30 second ad is titled “Where I Came From.”
The theme of the commercial is summed up best with Moffitt’s own words: “I’ve always said the best way to keep politicians from wasting your money, is to make sure that more of it stays in your wallet.”
And Moffitt just released a sneak peek of this new commercial on his Facebook page at: Facebook.com/Tim.Moffitt.NC116.
That’s a really washed out looking video.
I mean, there’s really nothing to say about the ad’s content. It’s typical, banal, vapid nonsense.
I disagree. I think the TV ad reflects who
Rep. Tim Moffitt is and what his goals
are for Western N.C.
