Today’s numbers from the progressive blogger are all about the Supreme Court’s decision last week on the Affordable Care Act.
Some highlights:
1.584 million—number of uninsured people in North Carolina who may be eligible for coverage under Medicaid as part of the Affordable Care Act upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court last week
.03—percentage of GDP represented by all the tax increases in the Affordable Care Act in the next ten years, not just the penalty for people who refuse to buy insurance (Ibid)
1.8—percentage of GDP represented by the tax increase passed by President Ronald Reagan from 1982-1983
