Movies in the Park continues Aug. 12 with ‘The Good Dinosaur’

The City of Asheville Parks & Recreation Department continues the 2016 season of Movies in the Park, a free monthly movie series in Pack Square Park on Aug. 12. Children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk on a giant screen on the Pack Square Park stage.

This month’s feature presentation is the animated, PG-rated “The Good Dinosaur.”

Bring a chair or a blanket and come out for crafts, a movie in the park, and an evening of fun, all for free.

Movies in the Park continues monthly through September. Each month, children’s craft activities begin at 6:30 p.m., followed with the movie at dusk. The final film screening of the season will be “Remember the Titans” on Sept. 16.
