Musician seeks help finding stolen Gretsch guitar

Here’s the message from Bill Rhodes via his Ashevillian blog:

Stolen Gretsch guitar in Asheville

On Fri. May 24, in the wee hours towards Sat. someone smashed the window of a white pickup truck in the HomeTrust bank parking lot on the corner of Woodfin Street and Broadway in Downtown Asheville.

The thieves made off with several items, most importantly, a red Gretsch guitar with a skull on the pickguard and a 2×12 fender hotrod Deville amp (click link below to see a photo).

The victim, Justin Brophy of the Go Devils is a professional musician and needs this gear back.

Please keep an eye out, and if you saw anything, or see anything, please call the Asheville Police Department (case # 13-012774) at 828-252-1112.

And please share this with your networks as widely as you can.

Thanks.
