Asheville—The Patsy Keever for Congress campaign today announced the recent endorsement of her campaign by the National Women’s Political Caucus and released the following statement:
“I am honored to have the endorsement of this national organization that does such incredible work on behalf of women,” said Rep. Keever. “The National Women’s Political Caucus is a grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process, an issue that I feel strongly about.”
“The National Women’s Political Caucus enthusiastically endorses Patsy Keever’s candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives,” said Linda Young, president of the organization. “We believe that Patsy will effectively represent the state of North Carolina and women across this country, and we are thrilled to endorse such an incredible woman.”
Rep. Keever’s endorsement by the NWPC is the most recent group to pledge their support for her congressional bid. The Sierra Club, Women’s Campaign Fund, Democracy for America, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, as well as a number of state and federal elected officials are among her other supporters.
