Warren Wilson College physics Professor David Coffey, Ph.D., will discuss the development of next-generation solar cells in a talk titled, “Shining a Light on a New Generation of Solar Cells,” at a meeting of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society.
His talk will take place Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., in Room 210 of Morse Hall in the Hamill Science Center on the Warren Wilson campus. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Coffey will discuss research he conducted on next-generation solar cells and nanomaterials at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the startup Nano-Terra, plus the continuation of that work at Warren Wilson.
