Notice is hereby given that the Buncombe County Board of Adjustment (the “Board”) will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:00 pm (the “Meeting”), at the Commissioners Chambers on the third floor of 200 College St, at which the Board will hold public hearings to consider the following applications:
ZPH2022-00004 Schlom Variance: Barry Bialik of Dirt and Sticks, on behalf of Lorraine Schlom, owner, has applied for a Variance pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of Buncombe County, Sec. 78-621(4), Sec. 78-642 Table 2, Dimensional Requirements (front yard setback), to establish variances from the front yard and right-of-way setbacks on tax lot PIN 9639-21-1320 (26 Hopedale Circle);
ZPH2022-00007 Asheville Airport Terminal Expansion SUP: Jared Merrill of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority has applied for a Special Use Permit pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of Buncombe County, Sec. 78-641(a), Sec. 78-677, and Sec. 78-678(b)(7), to establish a Planned Unit Development (Level 2) for a terminal expansion and modernization of the Asheville Regional Airport on tax lot PIN 9643-52-3284 (61 Terminal Drive);

ZPH2022-00005 ArtSpace Charter School Expansion SUP: Maggie Carnevale of PFA Architects, on behalf of Sarena Fuller, Executive Director of ArtSpace Charter School, owner, has applied for a Special Use Permit pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of Buncombe County, Sec. 78-641(a) and Sec. 78-677, to establish a new arts building at ArtSpace Charter School on tax lot PIN 9688-19-2051 (2030 US 70 Highway).
