Pardee Bariatrics & Weight Loss to host monthly support group meetings

Pardee Bariatrics & Weight Loss will host monthly bariatric support group meetings from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mission Pardee Health Campus, located at 2775 Hendersonville Road (second floor) in Arden. The support group will meet the third Wednesday of every month. Meetings are free and open to the public; attendees do not have to be a current patient of Pardee Bariatrics & Weight Loss to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring a family member or friend. Registration is required. Visit www.pardeehospital.org/classes-events/ to register and to view topics for the remainder of the year.
The June 20th meeting will cover “Bariatric Surgery Support.” Guest speaker Erin Fitzpatrick, MSN, RN-BC, a behavioral health educator at Pardee, will discuss the positive impact bariatric support can have on a person’s self-image and relationships. For more information, call 828-694-8436 or visit bariatrics.
Pardee UNC Health Care is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
