Pat’s School of Dance announces, two local young ladies that were recently honored at the Dance America Competition held in Atlanta, GA this spring. Hannah Tolles and Madeline Jones auditioned and were selected to attend the Dance Olympus VIP Summer Tour. This is a prestigious summer dance intensive with participants selected by audition only. These young ladies were chosen out of hundreds of dancers ages 15-18. They will travel with the summer tour for 3 weeks in July to major cities including; Boston, Minneapolis, Orlando, & Chicago. They will be assisting some of the top choreographers and dancers in the country in tap, modern, ballet, jazz, lyrical & hip hop dance. They will gain daily experience with new dance techniques and attend private master classes with VIP choreographers.Madeline Jones, is the daughter of David & Michelle Jones and a junior at Brevard High School. She is a Transylvania County scholar, a member of National Honor Society, World Language Society, and a Junior Marshall for her class. She has been a student at Pat’s School of Dance for 13 years and previously participated in the Rockette Summer Intensive in NYC for 2 summers, and attended the Ballet & Musical Theatre Intensive in Las Vegas.Hannah Tolles, is the daughter of Tommy & Ilse Tolles and a sophomore at Hendersonville High School. She is involved in cheerleading, track, Spanish Club, and FCA. She has been dancing at Pat’s School of Dance for 13 years. Hannah has also been invited by an agent to travel to Hollywood, CA this summer and dance in a music video and attend backstage recordings of the TV Show- So You Think You Can Dance. She will have a professional photo shoot and be able to audition for other agents, professional choreographers, and attend classes.The studio which is owned by Pat & Sheraton Shepherd and assisted by Performing Arts Staff members; Dustin Phillips, April Freeman, Brittany Sellers, Amanda Russell.
