Patsy Keever wins 10th District Straw Poll
Newton, NC – In a sign of growing momentum going into the May 8th primary election, Patsy Keever won the 10th Congressional District Democratic straw poll held in Catawba County on Saturday.
Democrats throughout the 10th District were invited to participate in the poll, and all candidates had an opportunity to make their case to the voters.
“I am delighted to have won the 10th District straw poll,” said Patsy Keever. “This is a clear indication that voters want to work together to resolve the issues that confront us. From early education funding to clean air and water to caring for our neighbors, we must always put people first. When I get to Congress, that will be my guiding principle.”
Last week Patsy Keever also earned the endorsement of Democracy for America, one of the United States’ largest progressive advocacy groups.
Rep. Patsy Keever (NC-115) is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District.
