Statement from Henderson County Schools:
Several of our kitchens are without power due to last night’s heavy storms, which will affect today’s meal pickup sites and Meals On the Bus routes. Today, Monday April 13, meal services at Atkinson Elementary, Hillandale Elementary, Fletcher Elementary and Hendersonville Middle will be closed – including grab-and-go meal pickup and the operation of Meals On the Bus routes #1 and #5. In an effort to serve families who may be affected by these unexpected closures, staff and resources are being redirected to the kitchen at East Henderson High today.
So today, families can access free meals for children at the following locations & routes:
Dana Elementary
Glenn C. Marlow Elementary
Sugarloaf Elementary
Upward Elementary
East Henderson High
Apple Valley Middle/North Henderson High
Meals On the Bus routes #2, #3, #6, and #7
