PRO(TECH)T wins regional InnovateHER competition, will compete nationally

From Mountain BizWorks:

Announcing the 2015 WNC Winner: PRO(TECH)T

A hearty congratulations to the winner of the regional InnovateHER competition: PRO(TECH)T, a social enterprise focused on reducing sexual assault on college campuses with the push of a button through tech wristbands.

As WNC’s winner, PRO(TECH)T now has the opportunity to compete in the national SBA InnovateHER competition for $70,000 in prizes. The up-and-coming entrepreneurs behind the business are Madison Eddings and Ben Eisdorfer; both are also students at UNC Asheville!

Participants are women entrepreneurs with innovative, commercially viable products or services that impact women’s lives. Mountain BizWorks congratulates all thirteen of the regionalist finalists that pitched their innovative product and business ideas.
