Rainbow Community School hosts third annual More Than Mindfulness Conference

The Rainbow Institute, an arm of Rainbow Community School (RCS) of West Asheville is hosting its 3rd annual More than Mindfulness (MTM) Conference on October 5th and 6th, 2018.

This two-day educational conference boasts two keynote lectures and 30 workshops emphasizing ways to integrate mindfulness and contemplative practices, social and emotional learning experiences and holistic education strategies into your classroom, home or organization.

Rainbow has invited 23 local, regional and national experts, including best-selling authors, highly regarded consultants and practitioners, to facilitate a diverse line up of workshops. In addition, Rainbow’s veteran teachers will be sharing their own wisdom and experience by offering hands-on workshops and will provide transferrable and applicable activities and resources.

This conference is intended for parents, educators and mental health professionals and will take place on October 5th and 6th, 2018 from 8:30-4:30 at RCS. The cost is $75 for a standard Friday and Saturday ticket and $115 for a VIP ticket. Tickets include conference refreshments, admission to keynotes, workshop sessions, and continuing education credits. Cecelia’s Culinary Tour Food Truck will be on site for Saturday lunch.
