Asheville, NC – Over 140 attendees got to hear from local beer industry experts today, July 17th, at Leadership Asheville’s second sold out event in the 2012 Buzz Summer Breakfast Series “Inspired Innovation: What Asheville’s All About.” Today’s event featured a conversation about innovations in craft brewing as local brewers prepare for the introduction of California based company Sierra Nevada Brewing. Presenters included Anne Fitten Glenn of the Mountain Express, Mike Rangel of Asheville Pizza and Brewing Co., Brian Grossman of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Julie Atallah of Bruisin’ Ales and Oscar Wong of Highland Brewing Co. The panelists engaged in friendly banter throughout the presentation, demonstrating Asheville’s enthusiasm for an ever-growing reputation as a micro-brew hot spot.
Leadership Asheville encourages interested individuals to get tickets early for the last event in this year’s series: Fabulous Foodtopia Tuesday, August 21 at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel. Panel presentations are 8-9am with registration and hot breakfast buffet starting at 7:30am. Admission is $20.00.
