From the press release:
Asheville, NC – AshevilleParks, Recreation and Cultural Arts presents the “Ted E. Tourists” adapted baseball program for boys and girls ages 6-18, in partnership with the Asheville Tourists. Games will be played on Saturdays, from April 21 – June 2. Cost is $25 for Asheville residents or $30 for non-residents, and includes instruction, uniform, and trophy. Parents and guardians are welcome to participate.
Registration will be held at the Dr. Wesley Grant/Southside Community Center, 285 Livingston St., on Friday, March 30 and April 6, from 6-8 pm, and on Saturday, March 31 and April 7, from 1-4 pm.
The program is also seeking coaches, volunteers, and sponsors to assist in creating an accessible opportunity for youth to enjoy the game of baseball. Current partners include Bojangles’, Mountain Adaptive and Orthopedic Appliance Company, Inc.
