Long Shoals Campsite Clean-Up and Maintenance
(One time need)

Time: 8:30 am – NoonProject Description:
We will be installing weed fabric in existing tent pads, weeding and general clearing of the tent pads and camping areas, general clean-up of the site, and checking signs are still up, replacing if need be and adding a few minor elements to the campsite. The site is difficult to get to (by car) we typically park on the side of I-26 (just past the East/South on ramp).
We are trying to have people carpool, as well as a meeting place close to the site.What to Bring:
Please come dressed for the weather, long pants (as there is some poison ivy around the trail to the site, and water for yourself. If you have gloves, clippers, etc. you like please feel free to bring your own, but I will have enough tools on site.Sign-up:

Across from the Barnard River Access (Madison County)Date: Variable – We would like to coordinate a small group (2-4) people for the project.
Project Description: We will be completing some final touches to this campsite including installing signs and chain across access road, and weed eating.

Ivy River Campsite Clean-up
(One time need)Location: 120 Blackberry Ridge, Marshall NC
Across from the Barnard River Access (Madison County)Date: Variable – We would like to coordinate a small group (2-3) people for the project.
Project Description: We will be completing some final touches to this campsite including installing signs and general site clean up. There is a trail to the site (about 1-1.5 miles) or you can boat in and out of this site very easily.

Big Pine Campsite Clean-up
(On-going need)Location: 14 Anderson Branch Road, Marshall NC
Across from the Barnard River Access (Madison County)Date: Varies – Approximately 1-2 hours every other or third week (until late October) Can split between 2 or 3 people
Project Description: We need some help over the summer weed eating areas of the site every 2-3 weeks.
