Press release from the Shelton House Museum:
The Shelton House Museum will hold an “Old-Fashioned Christmas and Grand Illumination” event on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Shelton House, 49 Shelton Street. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join in with the carolers on the Shelton House front lawn. Warm up in the barn with hot chocolate, cider, and baked goods or step inside the historic home to view the beautiful decorations for Christmas. Don’t forget your wish list… Santa Claus will be visiting the Shelton House Barn from 4 to 6:15 p.m. Then, settle in on the front lawn for a reading of “The Night before Christmas” and then the Grand Illumination Event at 6:30 p.m.
This is a free event open to al, so “Come All Ye Faithful” and join the fun! We hope to see you there at the “Old-Fashioned Appalachian Christmas and Grand Illumination.” Santa cannot wait to meet you!
