Small business info session: Financial recovery

Asheville, NC – Local small business owners impacted by Hurricane Helene are invited to attend a Small Business Info Session: Financial Recovery on Thursday, October 10, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Mojo Coworking (81 Broadway Street). This session will provide valuable insights and resources to help small businesses navigate financial recovery through grants, loans, and legal guidance.

This session is designed specifically for small business owners, with space limited to one representative per business. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on 828newsNOW.com.

The event will feature expert speakers from organizations dedicated to supporting small businesses through recovery, including:

  • Small Business Administration (SBA): Federal resources and loan assistance.
  • Mountain BizWorks: Local financing and business development services.
  • Community Betterment Foundation: Grants for small businesses and business development resources.
  • McGuire Wood & Bissette: Legal considerations in business recovery.
  • FEMA: Disaster recovery resources and financial assistance.
  • Always Asheville Fund: A fund through Explore Asheville dedicated to business support grants.
