Press release from event organizers:
RUTHERFORDTON, N.C. (October 18, 2018) – One of the best things about fall in Western North Carolina is that it ushers in the most spooky event of the year: Trick-or-Treat on Main and we do it right! During this event, downtown merchants have an opportunity to give back to their community and watch the parade of fabulous costumes walk up and down Main Street.
We can’t possibly be more excited about the thrills and chills ahead! This event is free and all ghost, goblins, and fairy princesses are welcome. The fun begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. (or until all the candy is handed out)! If you wish to hand out candy, such as Trunk-or-Treat, we encourage you to back in along Main Street and give candy out of your (hopefully decorated) car or truck. Get charged up and meet us on Main Street for this SPOOK-tacular event!#FunMintedHere.
