UNCA gets high marks for its communication and marketing

UNC Asheville brought home multiple awards for communication and marketing from the annual conference for the Southeast region of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Here’s the full release:

UNC Asheville Communication and Marketing Earns Top Honors

UNC Asheville earned seven awards for communication and marketing, including a first-place Grand Award, at a conference for advancement professionals. The honors came for the university’s recently redesigned giving website, new foundational publication, UNC Asheville Magazine, video, and media relations.

The awards were presented Feb. 17 in Orlando, Fla., at the annual conference of the southeast region of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), an organization with more than 78,000 members representing 3,600 schools, including many of the largest and most prestigious in the region.

UNC Asheville received recognition for the following projects, publications and videos:

Grand Award in Fundraising Website for UNC Asheville’s Giving Website Redesign
Special Merit Award for the Recruitment Video Experience UNC Asheville

Print and Digital Publications

Award of Excellence in Magazine I category for UNC Asheville Magazine
Special Merit Award for Magazine Improvement for the redesign of UNC Asheville Magazine
Special Merit Award for the Fundraising Publication Investing in Success

Advertising

Award of Excellence for the 30-second Commercial Experience UNC Asheville

Media Relations

Special Merit Award for “Making the Most of the Lincoln Photo Discovery”
