Press release from UNC Asheville:
The North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame announced on Tuesday, February 14 that it has elected UNC Asheville Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone to its Board of Directors.
“I am honored to be selected to serve the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and to join a distinguished group of fellow directors,” said Cone. “To be asked to help recognize the many distinguished athletes in a state I have called home for almost twenty years is a humbling experience.”
