The destruction of America is in our National Debt. In just 7 years our debt will top $25 trillion dollars. The interest on that could be $1.5 trillion if our credit rating continues to drop. America only took in $2.3 Trillion in tax dollars last year. That is the economic destruction of America, as we know it.
Before we can reduce the debt, we must stop the bleeding and balance the budget. The business approach to stop the bleeding in a company is to first consolidate all functions of the company under strong department leaders. These department leaders are instructed to cut their personnel by twenty percent. They are then charged with making sure everything that needs to be done, is done promptly, efficiently and thoroughly. If they cannot do it, we get someone who can, for the survival of the company and its good employees.
Applying these business principles to our bloated bureaucratic government:
1. Consolidate all functions of the Executive Branch under the appropriate Cabinet or Department. All Czar positions are eliminated with necessary functions going to the appropriate Departments. EPA goes to the Department of Interior. Homeland Security goes back to Justice and Defense. Education goes back to the States, with the DOJ enforcing our educational laws. Department of Energy is eliminated, with the NRC going under Interior or Health and Human Services.
2. Employ the most qualified people to run the departments and pay them well. Instruct them to develop a plan to cut 20% from their department and still accomplish the needed task. If they cannot or will not do this, then we move them and hire a new department head who will.
3. Charge those Department heads to revise the process of their Departments to accomplish their needed tasks, while coordinating their efforts with all other departments. If they cannot work together to streamline our government, then they are not effective and must be removed.
Consolidate – Cut – Charge! This will not only balance the budget but will also provide a much more efficient, effective and professional government to serve We The People! This works for business and it will work in government. After all, Government IS business with to much politics in it.
