The Western North Carolina VA Health Care System has partnered with the City of Asheville and the Buncombe County Veterans Council to host a Veterans Day Ceremony Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.
The ceremony will be conducted at the hospital in front of the Community Living Center. This will be the first live ceremony held at the hospital since 2019.

The keynote speaker is Warren Dupree, an enrolled Member of Eastern Band of Cherokee Indian Tribal Elder and Veteran who served in both the Vietnam War and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Please join us for a story telling of Native American duty, honor and service. The ceremony will also include readings from the Brothers and Sisters Like These Veteran Writing Group.
