VisitSouth.com picks up the story of Asheville’s new food-truck lot:

One stop, many delights at “The Lot,” Asheville’s food truck stop

Food truck lovers, rejoice! Asheville now has a downtown lot dedicated to food trucks. Known simply as “The Lot,” the area is located in a previously vacant lot the downtown city bus terminal on Coxe Avenue (off Patton Avenue). After many years of hearings and voting in City Hall, the ban on food trucks in downtown Asheville was lifted last fall. The Lot was prepared to welcome popular local food trucks that have been operating outside of downtown for months or years.
