Waynesville movie theater seeks help creating historical timeline

Press Release

The Strand

Attention locals of Haywood County! The Strand @ 38 Main needs your help!

We are creating a “History of The Strand” timeline to be displayed permanently in the hallway leading to the theatre. The timeline will feature photographs, from the early days until now, as well as stories and personal experiences collected from members of the community.
We want to hear all about your teenage date nights, family movie memories, and about that good ol’ “Granny Flashlight” roaming the aisle.

If you have stories or photographs that you would like to share for this project please ask to speak to the manager. You may also contact us through email at info@38main.com or by phone at 283-0079.

Help us spread the word! We want to make this a fun, engaging community memory project.
