After over five years in on Battery Park, Zapow gallery is moving to Coxe Avenue on Asheville’s seemingly exploding South Slope. When they lost their lease in a dramatic lease renewal rent hike and subsequent withdrawal of the offer, the gallery’s owner, Laura Patton decided it was time to seek other options. The beloved pop art gallery has now found a new home with a 10 year lease. See more details below in the announcement below.

We are so excited and happy to announce that ZaPow has signed a 10 year lease on a new home! In October(ish), we will be moving to a new building currently under construction in Downtown Asheville’s South Slope at
150 Coxe Ave at the corner of Coxe and Banks!
Our new location will be bigger and better than our current one and will be only a 10 min walk south of our current space. We will be about one block south of Asheville Pizza & Brewing Co., next door to Twin Leaf Brewery andTasty Beverage Company – Asheville, across the street from Funkatorium and just around the corner from Vortex Doughnuts, Buxton Hall Barbecue,Catawba Brewing Co – South Slope Tasting Room & Brewery, Hi-Wire Brewing, Burial Beer Co. and Green Man Brewery! We will also be just down the street from the Asheville Area ArtsCouncil.
