Duties & Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise and support the Community Mentor staff and oversee the quality of care and services delivered to our clients
• Collaborate/communicate with the multidisciplinary team (Clinical, Operations, Admissions, Administrative) on all aspects of programming and client care
• Oversee the shift and be an active presence in activities of the shift and daily schedule
• Provide the highest level of physical and emotional safety to our clients
• Oversee the management and mentorship of client groups
• Teach a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to our clients
• Lead process groups, mindfulness sessions and educational and skills-based groups
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions as needed, including crisis de-escalation
• Work as part of an integrative team to provide competent and compassionate clinical care
• Take initiative as a team player, and model flexible and adaptive thinking and problem solving with our clients

The Child and Family Advocate is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Associate Case Management Coordinator. This position will have a focus on serving families with children impacted by domestic violence, including those engaged with Child Protective Services. The primary responsibilities include providing advocacy, support, crisis intervention, court advocacy, case management, and safety planning services for survivors of intimate partner violence as well as assisting in developing and facilitating peer support groups. Strong communication, organization, advocacy, and time management skills are required. The qualified candidate will have a BA or BS in human services field and 2 years’ experience in intimate partner violence or a commensurate combination of work and experience, as well as extensive knowledge of OR experience working within the Child Protective Services system.
