After a heavy, marathon session last week, Asheville City Council’s Tuesday, April 17, session appears to be a bit on the light and dry side.
But, hey, who knows? With Council, the agenda can be misleading.
And for those who who care about the fiscal direction of the city, Council will be holding its first budget workshop of the year just prior to its formal session, which starts at 5 p.m. in its second-floor chambers. The budget work session will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at City Hall, in the 6th Floor Training Room. Here’s that agenda:
3:00-3:20
Quarterly Financial Report and Budget Preview
3:20-4:00
Prioritization of City Council Strategic Goals
4:00-4:40
Budget Discussion: Allocations and Requests for Additional Information
4:40-4:50
Update on Budget Calendar and Future Worksessions
4:50
Adjournment for regular meeting
