CANCELED: Building Healthy and Sustainable Communities Conference, set for June 2-3

Building Healthy and Sustainable Communities, a conference sponsored jointly by the Mountain Area Health Education Center and the Environmental Leadership Center at Warren Wilson College, has been cancelled owing to inadequate advance registration. The conference was scheduled to take place June 2 and 3, and was previewed in the Wednesday, May 25 edition of Xpress.

Advance registration was not sufficient to mount the event, but organizers say the spirit of Mountain Green and the need for building healthy and sustainable communities are still strong.  Stay tuned for future events and conferences.

  1. Cosmic Ballroom

Leads to the question has the craze for sustainable green peaked in this economy?

  2. How does it lead to that question? It could lead to “Why was the publicity for this event so minimal?” or “Does your chewing gum loose it’s flavor on the bedpost overnight?”
