Marchers protest immigration arrests at Shogun Buffet

Protesting a recent raid by federal immigration officers on the Shogun Buffet, nearly 100 people marched to bring attention to the issue of what they perceive as uneven enforcement of immigration laws in Western North Carolina.

Chanting “we are here, we are not leaving” and “justice for the arrested,” the group walked through downtown, holding rallies at Pritchard Park, the Buncombe County Courthouse and Vance Monument along the way.

Last year’s illegal aliens are last week’s undocumented Americans are tomorrow’s potential Democrat voting block.

Perhaps you touchy-feely types might want to sneak across the border into Mexico and then claim citizenship and demand free social services to the Mexican government. You’d last about 10 minutes if you’re lucky.

I’m sorry, I imagine you think there is a relevant ‘point’ in there somewhere, but I’ll be durned if I can locate it.
