The National Weather Service is cautioning WNC locals to watch out for black ice and slippery roads after sundown.
The NWS’ latest advisory, effective until noon tomorrow, advises locals to travel carefully as “refreezing of roads will occur,” leading to “widespread black ice.”

I want to drive to Duncan, SC tomorrow, Thursday driving from Ohio. Does anyone know if the mountain I40 will be safe to drive on tomorrow afternoon?
