Saturday last day for early voting in Asheville races

If haven’t made it to Buncombe County Elections Services to cast an early vote in the Asheville City Council and mayoral primary, you have until 1 p.m. on Saturday to get your ballot in during the early voting period.

If you can’t make it by then, election day for the primary is Tuesday, Oct. 6. Click here to figure out where to go to cast a vote.

As of this writing, 1,055 of Asheville’s 64,070 registered voters have cast early ballots. That’s 1.64 percent of the city’s registered voters.
