Sheriff Van Duncan, who has recently faced controversy about the flag-desecration arrests and his refusal to reveal the results of his office’s investigation, will be on the spot for a whole hour on Wednesday, Aug. 22. On “Take a Stand! with Matt Mittan,” Duncan will face questions from the local radio host as well as listeners.
Duncan’s hour on the program starts at 3 p.m on WWNC-570 AM. The call-in number is (828) 240-9962 in the Asheville area, or (800) 570-9962 elsewhere. Mittan said on his show today that he and Duncan will hold the floor for the first 15 or 20 minutes, then open up the discussion to callers.
