Get ready Asheville, Americana Burlesque is back! The Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival is now in its ELEVENTH year of celebrating the Vaudeville Revival here in Asheville. Nominated for Best Show in the Mountain Xpress Readers Choice Awards, ABSFest has attracted renowned circus and burlesque artists from across the USA, as well as Scotland, Germany, and Japan. ABSFest is known for embodying the true spirit of Vaudeville and nurturing creativity and empowerment. Performing for your amusement and stimulating your sense of humor, these talented entertainers offer fashion, contortion, trapeze, and tease!

3rd Show: Sunday, May 28th at The Grey Eagle: Burlesque Brunch Monster edition with Live Music, Burlesque monsters and a delicious brunch! Hosted by DC’s Dr. Dour & Peach. 12:00pm Doors Open; 12:30-2pm Burlesque Brunch Show.

When my husband first suggested ABS fest I was a little reluctant to go… sure HE would like burlesque but would I? Answer- YES! It was amazing, it was empowering, it was funny, it was one of the most enjoyable “date nights” of 2016.
