MX Giveaway – Four pairs of tickets to New Belgium’s Tour de Fat

FIRST THINGS FIRST: After recently celebrating its first year in Asheville, New Belgium Brewing will host the inaugural local iteration of Fat Tire's Tour de Fat. Organizer Sam Sawyer calls the outdoor event "so much more than a typical concert," since a troupe of circus acts and "wandering weirdos and performers" add to the interactive entertainment.

Tour de Fat returns to Asheville on Saturday, Sept. 22, with headliner Built to Spill. Asheville is the third stop on New Belgium Brewing’s six-city bonanza of bikes, beers and philanthropic fun. And we want to get you in on the action.

In addition to Built to Spill, New Belgium has put together a hot set of entertainment including Fire Leopard, Sputnik, Slow Ride and KOLARS to round out the afternoon. It’s a celebration of great beer, good people and the star of the show: the bicycle!

Celebrate self-propelled, two-wheel travel and dress up as your alter ego while raising money for Asheville on Bikes’ local efforts to cultivate the culture of urban and commuter cycling. There will also be a pre-party on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Grey Eagle with Floating Action.

Over the past 18 seasons, the Tour de Fat has raised over $5 million for bike-related nonprofits. So get your costume ready and come on out. It’s time to shift gears and get weird.
