“After FBRA was denied a charter from the state, Howard Hanger provided invaluable experience, wisdom and inspiration for the formation of FBRA as an independent, tuition-funded, nonprofit private school.”
Pottery from Pompeii, solidified lava, Native American relics, “trophies of the seas,” and “the carnivorous lilies of North Carolina lowlands,” were among the items on display inside Ida Jolly Crawley’s House of Pan: Museum of Art and Archaeology.
The international gathering of the Creation Spirituality Community, held April 26-29 at Jubilee! in Asheville, features a keynote by renowned theologian Matthew Fox, a concert by Abraham Jam and over 20 workshops by wisdom leaders from around the world.
Just before the Christmas Jam, work began on the fifth annual ‘jam house.’ This week Warren Haynes was back in town to give the keys to the new owner, Michelle Bevans.
