The Asheville Police Department has charged Steven Gordon Shultz with stabbing Frederick Garfield McLeod in the Beaucatcher Cinemas parking lot on Tunnel Road. In a press conference this morning, Capt. Tim Splain asserted that McLeod was a crack-cocaine dealer, and that the stabbing happened during a drug deal.
