The 2018 NewSong finalists will showcase and compete at Isis Music Hall on Saturday, Dec. 15, judged by competition founder Gar Ragland, Diana Ezerins from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.; Elysa Marden from Arts Brookfield in New York, and a surprise local celebrity judge.

Max Hatt and Edda Glass decided to enter the annual NewSong Contest. They won the grand prize, which included a recording session at Echo Mountain Studios.
NewSong is probably best-known for its annual songwriter competition, The NewSong Contest. The winner walks away with a prize package aimed at taking a career to the next level: a performance at ASCAP Cafe during the Sundance Film Festival, another concert at Lincoln Center and a chance to record an album on the NewSong Recordings label.
