Zelda Fitzgerald Week is back, after last year’s annual event was canceled due to COVID-19. Also: North Carolina Stage Company debuts its latest production; Beer Sister Cities of Perpetual Indulgence release its latest online series; and more!
Two local productions — Different Strokes’ “…while Black” show and NC Stage’s latest collaboration with Mike Wiley — mark their companies’ most ambitious digital performances thus far.
The beloved play runs through Sunday, Oct. 8 at North Carolina Stage Company.
Bryce Monroe performs his one-man play on black American experiences at N.C. Stage Company Thursday to Saturday, Sept. 8-10.
With scrumptious food catered by Cucina 24, The Market Place Restaurant, Bouchon Bistro and Izzy’s Coffee Den, plus local beer crafted by Craggie Brewing and a colorful fashion show inspired by the plays in N.C. Stage’s 2010-2011 season, Play Local promises to be a lively party supporting educational and artistic opportunities at N.C. Stage.
