The Buncombe County Board of Commissioners will have the opportunity to hear from the public on the county’s proposed $313 million budget for the coming fiscal year at tomorrow’s meeting. The budget has no tax increase, but roughly $6 million in cuts, including 86 positions.
Buncombe County has started a swine flu hotline and advised residents to “take caution” in response to the influenza strain that’s popped up in cities across the country.
