The Pack Square fountain presents this group of teens with an interesting challenge. It’s 9:45, and the park officially closes to the public at 10. Can they keep up the high-level energy for 15 whole minutes? (Here’s a hint: The video isn’t even five minutes long. But respect the effort, at least.)
Speaking of dancing, there was quite a lot of it happening at the Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival (LAAFF) last weekend. Here’s just one example of some of the creative moves that were on display, as choreographed by Lisa Zahiya.
One really can’t mention LAAFF without a nod to one of the most entertaining events at the festival. Here’s precisely one minute of bike-jousting hijinks.
The tragedy of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks are on most of our minds this weekend. Shortly after the attacks, a “mini-documentary” was filmed featuring unrehearsed messages to the kids of the victims, all coming from 4th and 5th grade kids from the Asheville area.
