From a press release:
The Magnetic Theatre announces its new location
At long last, our search for a theater of our very own is over — before year’s end The Magnetic Theatre will call Magnetic 375, at 375 Depot Street, home. If Depot Street sounds familiar to you, that’s because Magnetic 375 is located directly across the street from our former River Arts District digs (bonus! you can even keep your favorite parking spot).
Expect to see fresh theatrical firsts from veteran Magnetic playwrights Steven Samuels, Lucia Del Vecchio, John Crutchfield, Julian Vorus, and Jim Julien, and more of the great talents who live and work in this special city. Importantly, we’ll also host such Asheville favorites as “No She Didn’t,” LYLAS, The Feral Chihuahuas, Bombs Away Cabaret, 40 Fingers and a Missing Tooth, and others too numerous to mention! And, of course, there’s always the latest annual edition of The Bernstein Family Christmas Spectacular!
But this will all cost money. Please help us outfit and launch Magnetic 375 properly. Make your tax-deductible contribution, of any size, today.
