ASHEVILLE (Sept. 29, 2014) – Mailander LLC announces the opening of Asheville’s first Sola Salon Studios location on Pack Square. Located on the second floor of 124 College Street in downtown Asheville, the 5,800- square-foot salon overlooks the Pack Square green and the Visitor’s Center. This central, well-trafficked location offers studios for 25 independent salon businesses that can house as many as 29 salon professionals. Sola caters to hairdressers, skin professionals, nail stylists, make-up artists, massage therapists and other beauty specialists. Six salons have already opened and a seventh is reserved and opening in October.
Sola Salon Studios offers established salon professionals the freedom and benefits of salon ownership without many of the risks associated with opening a traditional salon. Each private salon studio is fully appointed with luxurious, purpose-built cabinets and fixtures, a high-end styling chair and shampoo bowl, full-spectrum lighting and oversized mirrors. Sola is differentiated by allowing salon professionals who rent space the ability to design their own studios, manage their own hours and client bookings, set profit margins, use and offer to clients the products of their choosing, and enjoy other freedoms and benefits of salon ownership while leaving to Sola the management of the salon infrastructure.
