Toastmasters hosts new club demonstration

Full announcement from Hendersonville Toastmasters:

Hendersonville, NC — Four Seasons Toastmasters (www.fourseasonstoastmasters.com) invites you to its Demonstration Meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Media Center at East Hendersonville High School. Our plan is to create a new Toastmasters Club every Tuesday evening. You will learn of the importance of communication and leadership skills for all areas of your life.

“Toastmasters provide a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills,” says Karen Strange, Area Governor and Past President of Four Seasons Toastmasters.

Guests and members will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches by experienced Toastmaster, Table TopicsTM (impromptu speeches) and evaluations. This meeting will be led by Asheville Toastmasters Club 436 Treasurer, Karen Alexander, Distinguished Toastmaster and Past District Governor.
Club Vice President of Public Relations Ron Comeens will be the Table Topics Master. “Table Topics are one of my favorite parts of the meeting,” says Comeens. “This is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes. It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet.” Three experienced speakers and several evaluators will round out our demonstration program agenda.

The Hendersonville Toastmasters Demonstration Meeting Tuesday, February 5, 2012 East Hendersonville High School Media Center Time: 5:30 – 6:30 pm Refreshments Available – Doors Open by 5 pm
